• Grades 3-5 - The Pitman Education Program was developed to provide additional opportunities in an enrichment setting to ensure that all of our students are motivated, interested, and encouraged to work at a challenging level.  The program enables students to develop critical and creative thinking skills so that they may excel. PEP will begin in October and is being run by Miss Schanz.

Safety Patrol

  • Grade 5 - The 5th grade Safety Patrol has been a long standing tradition here at Kindle. Students will be on a rotating schedule for assigned jobs such as greeting students in the morning, holding doors and lowering the flag at the end of the day.

  • Grades 3-5 - Mrs. Mason will start chess in January and they meet during recess. Beginners are welcomed and they will offer instruction on how to play chess.

Jump Rope

  • Grades 3-5 -  Each week, we do warm-up exercises, a high-count jump, learn a new jump and then enjoy jumping! Jump rope starts in February! The finale will be when we join the other elementary schools for the Jump-A-Thon held at the high school.

  • Grades 4 & 5 - Students will work on a collaborative art project for the art show. Mrs. Lupo will be meeting once a month, beginning in January, after school with students to create a cool project that will be displayed at the art show in May!

India Project

  • Grades 1-5 - Miss Horowitz and Kindle School have once again teamed up with Professor Quinesso and Rowan University students to support our sister school in India. We have donated books, education materials, whiteboards and even bathroom fixtures!

  • Grades 4 & 5 - Mrs. Weber’s chorus students are working hard to prepare for the Winter/Spring concerts. They are fine tuning their musical skills as they learn to  experience music as a musical ensemble.
